So whats my obsession with Maple? It all stems from my deep-seated love of pancakes. Fresh hot pancakes, freckled with toll house morsels, and lightly bathed in warm luscious maple syrup… its like having a little slice of heaven in your mouth.
Yeah ok… I do like pancakes – who doesn’t?!? But my other obsessions with Canada’s favorite tree come from my enjoyment of woodworking and a secret wish to abandon the 8 to 5 life and run off to join the professional bowlers tour. I have the heart, the mind, and physique to be a professional bowler — but unfortunately no where near the talent. ;0)
